Undergraduate (UG) admissions to central universities for this academic session (2022 – 23) will be through the CUET. The exam will be conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency).
CUET structure
There will be 3 sections – languages, domain subjects and general test. Choosing options from each Section is not mandatory. Choices should match the requirements of the desired Central University.
Section I (A & B) – Test of Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary (45 minutes)
Section II – Domain specific subjects. A user can choose upto 6 subjects (60 minutes)
Section III – General test based on General knowledge & current affairs, Quantitative aptitude, Logical reasoning (60 minutes)
CUET pattern
- The test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) format,
- The questions will be of objective type with multiple choice for answers,
- All questions in various testing areas will be benchmarked at the level of Class XII only.
