Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). This exam is a requirement for getting admission for the following courses in the state of Karnataka.
- Engineering,
- Architecture,
- Yoga & Naturopathy,
- Veterinary,
- Farm Science,
- B.Pharma.
Exam pattern
The exam will be conducted for 2 days and will have 2 sessions on both days. In the KCET 2020, every paper will have 60 questions. Candidates will be given 80 minutes to solve each paper that includes 10 minutes for completing the details in the OMR Sheet. Candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga will have to take Kannada Language Test.
The exam is of MCQ (multiple choice questions) type. There are four papers and the syllabus is mainly from class 11th & 12th.
Day 1 ~ Biology and Mathematics.
Day 2 ~ Physics and Chemistry.
