The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the CGL and the CHSL exams every year. These are held in multiple stages, also called as Tiers.
CGL 4 Tiers & CHSL 3 Tiers
The first tier is mostly common having MCQ’s in Reasoning, Aptitude, English and General Awareness. The right answers are awarded 2 marks while 0.5 deduction for wrong answer. Below is a table showing different tiers and the exam pattern.
