~ A case study of three top contestants of NEET Weekly from December 03, 2017 to December 24, 2017
Overview
NEET Weekly is the latest Android app from Questionbang for NEET aspirants. The app hosts mini quizzes every week. These are mini mock exams, total time required to attempt all the quizzes is about 90 minutes. The App is on Play Store since August 2017, but has been a challenge to find students using the app consistently every week. May be this is for the reason that the students won’t have syllabus completed till November end or so.
As we are approaching the year end, now there are more students regularly using the App. The analysis presented here is based on the sample data for last five weeks (December first week to December last week). The objective is to get a better insight about how the App is being used as a study companion.
Sample Source
The data has been collected from Top-Five scores of NEET Weekly. The rank list is posted every week on Questionbang social media pages, viz., Facebook and Google+. You can also check past data of weekly toppers from Questionbang Top-Five page.

The table below shows the scores of three users. All of them have been featured in Top-Five during one or more weeks.

Highest Weekly Scores
Below are the weekly highest scores. It is not the same user who scored highest every week.
Dec 03 | Dec 10 | Dec 17 | Dec 24
Score | 378 (Raj Rajput) |
394 (Nazeefa Eram) |
425 (Raj Rajput) |
441 (Raj Rajput) |
Highest Weekly Scores
There has been a continuous improvement of highest score over the weeks. This is more or less true with scores of rest of users, and is reflected in average scores (to be discussed in next section).
Average Trend
The trend data is based on average score of all contestants. The table below shows the data for corresponding weeks.
Dec 03 | Dec 10 | Dec 17 | Dec 24
Average score | 93 | 91 | 89 | 107 |
Trend data
The average score is between 90 to 100, just an indication of poor competition. Hardly 10% of the users are scoring above average marks. This may not be so bad in an all India level NEET.
Below is a screenshot taken from NEET Weekly App.
There has been an upward trend since December 18th. This may be a reflection of preparedness of students as the end of academic season is nearing.
Scoring Trend
The graphs have been generated using amcharts.com.
As the chart depicts, there has been a continuous improvement over weeks. The users in sample data may be fairly prepared students, and are serious contenders of all India NEET.
Conclusion
Thanks to NEET Weekly contestants, regular study and assessment using the App is surely a smart way to crack NEET. The score improvements may be a reflection of hard work, but the app can work as a companion watching your progress.
There are large number of new users added every week. Improving a rank or maintaining a consistent rank every week can be a challenge, or an opportunity to prepare well for the final exam. NEET Weekly is a must-have companion if you are preparing for any medical entrance exams (NEET UG or MHCET).
